Keep Arkansas Beautiful earns fourth straight National Diamond Award
LITTLE ROCK (Jan. 24, 2014) – Keep Arkansas Beautiful (KAB), two local organizations and an individual in the state have received national recognition from Keep America Beautiful Inc., the nation’s premier community-improvement organization.
Keep Arkansas Beautiful earned its fourth consecutive Diamond Level Award, the highest recognition bestowed by the national organization on its state affiliates. KAB is one of nine state affiliates to be a Diamond Level recipient.
Additionally, the Saline County Regional Solid Waste Management District received a second-place National Community Improvement Award in the Beautification category.
The Gravette Public Schools fourth grade GATE class won a first place Youth Recognition Award in the Project category. Evan Hurley, of Bryant received a second place Youth Recognition Award in the Individual category.
