Lamb, Hoofman Elected by Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission

Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission elects officers for 2012

The Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission (KAB) has elected the Rev. Dr. Thurston Lamb of North Little Rock as chairman and Debbie Hoofman of Enola as vice chairman for 2012.

Lamb was appointed to the commission in 2002 and reappointed in 2007 to represent Arkansas’ 2nd Congressional District. He is pastor of Bethel AME Church in Lonoke and serves as a trustee of Shorter College at North Little Rock. Lamb was a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America for 12 years and a community organizer in the Little Rock area for the Economic Opportunity Agency.

Hoofman was appointed to the commission in 2008 to represent Arkansas at large. Originally from North Little Rock, she and her husband, Cliff, recently relocated to Faulkner County to raise beef cattle. Hoofman is retired from the Home Builders Association of Greater Little Rock, where she served as executive director for 10 years. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of North Little Rock and volunteers with The Salvation Army and Friendly Chapel of North Little Rock.
