Philpott appointed to environmental education board

LITTLE ROCK (Feb. 19, 2016) – Liz Philpott, volunteer program manager for the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission (KAB), has been elected to the Arkansas Environmental Education Association (AEEA) board of directors.

As board member, Philpott will help guide efforts to promote environmental education and the work of environmental educators.

Philpott holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas and a master’s from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She has earned the Keep America Beautiful Community Environment Professional certification and has been honored with the Keep America Beautiful Young Professional Award. She has also completed the certified volunteer manager program offered by the Arkansas Public Administration Consortium and the Department of Human Services Division of Community Service and Nonprofit Support.
