Liz Philpott Honored at National Ceremony

Liz Philpott named national young professional

Liz Philpott, Keep Arkansas Beautiful’s (KAB) volunteer services coordinator, has been named a Keep America Beautiful Young Professional. She is one of three individuals to ever be recognized.

The award recognized someone under age 40 who has demonstrated remarkable leadership and outreach in the community in the areas in litter prevention, recycling and beautification.

At the President’s Circle Luncheon, Philpott also received designation as a Keep America Beautiful Certified Community Environmental Professional. She will also soon graduate from the Arkansas Public Administration Consortium’s Certified Volunteer Management Program.

“Liz personifies this distinction, as she consistently and conscientiously works to educate, inspire and engage volunteers in the program activities of KAB and Keep America Beautiful,” said Robert Phelps, executive director of KAB.

Philpott holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from UCA and a master’s in applied communication studies from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.
