Shoreline Sweep Cleanup (THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)

Date(s): 04/11/2020
Times: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Location: DeGray Lake Resort State Park
Address: 2027 State Park Entrance Road

Join DeGray Lake Resort State Park staff and fellow community members to help clean up the state park’s 14 miles of shoreline and ensure DeGray Lake remains an unspoiled gem among the Diamond Lakes of Arkansas. Volunteer groups will be assigned different sections of shoreline around the park to maximize efficiency. Gloves, trash bags, and safety vests will be provided. Hot dogs will be served at the end. In order to have enough supplies on hand, volunteers are asked to register beforehand by calling the park visitor center, (501) 865‐5801. Free t‐shirts will be given out while supplies last, so be sure to call and register soon! Don’t forget to wear sturdy hiking or tennis shoes for walking on rocky shoreline. Thank you for helping us keep “my park, your park, our park” clean!
