Lake Sequoyah Cleanup – Fayetteville

The City of Fayetteville Recycling and Trash Division, the City of Fayetteville Sustainability and Resilience Department, and the City of Fayetteville Parks & Recreation Department are coordinating three events to celebrate America Recycles Day in Fayetteville.

The first event is the Lake Sequoyah Cleanup on November 7, 2015, from 9 AM – 12 PM.

Volunteers will be removing trash along the lake edge and slopes. Supplies, water and hot cocoa will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring muck or rain boots and dress for the weather. Volunteers are also welcome to bring a kayak or canoe for the event. The day will wrap up with food and door prizes.
