City of Fayetteville Downtown Litter & Cigarette Butt Cleanup

Date(s): 10/26/2019
Times: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

City of Fayetteville Parks and Recreation will host their Downtown Litter & Cigarette Butt Cleanup on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Come help clean up Downtown Fayetteville! Volunteers will help prevent stream pollution by cleaning up cigarette butts and other trash on the sidewalks, curbs, and in the landscape beds on Dickson, Block Ave, and the Square. Meet at the Spring Street Parking Deck (434 West Spring Street in Fayetteville).

Your help will prevent this litter from washing into the storm drains, which flow into Fayetteville’s network of streams and eventually to our source for drinking water. Water and cleanup supplies will be provided – please wear comfortable walking shoes.

This event is sponsored by the City of Fayetteville Recycling & Trash and Park Departments, Keep America Beautiful, and the NWA Tobacco and Drug Free Coalition.
