The Jefferson County Cooperative Extension invites volunteers to come participate in a guided canoe trip and Watershed Discovery Day on October 13, 2018 at 9 am in Pine Bluff. Event check-in will be at the Dr. Curtis Merrill Access by the Wal-Mart on Ohio Street. It will be a fun filled day of citizen-science and watershed appreciation as Arkansas residents explore the bayou, remove litter from the waterway, and learn about watershed protection.

The Mike Huckabee Delta Rivers Nature Center will be providing canoes for those participants that do not have their own boats. Reservations for canoes can be made with the Jefferson County Extension Service and all supplies will be provided at the check-in station.
