Youth Poster Contest

Youth Poster Contest

As communities around the state begin planning their Great American Cleanup™in Arkansas events each spring, the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission (KAB) invites students in grades K – 5 to submit art entries in its annual youth poster contest.

KAB coordinates a Youth Poster Contest in conjunction with the Great American Cleanup in Arkansas to involve elementary school students, increase awareness of the Great American Cleanup and educate the public about the importance of a clean and beautiful community to economic development, civic pride and environmental quality of life.

Teachers and youth leaders across the state are encouraged to involve all students in grades K – 5 in this educational art contest. Home-schooled students, 4-H clubs, scouts and other youth organizations are also invited to submit entries in the competition.

For more information about the contest, call Liz Philpott at 888-742-8701 or email her at
