Make Progress Not Litter

The City of Pine Bluff will host their “Make Progress Not Litter” event on Saturday, August 26, 2017. Their goal is to assemble 300 volunteers to deploy into various areas of need for their initial Citywide Cleanup. They will continue cleanups every 4th Saturday of the month. 48th Annual Greers Ferry Lake & Little Red River Cleanup

Hi Lake and river lovers join us the 48th Annual Greers Ferry Lake & Little Red River Cleanup at area marinas and designated places around the lake. Stay for Love the Lake & River weekend and enjoy the festivities, at 11 a.m. at Lacey’s Narrows Marina with a BBQ picnic lunch, and fresh squeezed homemade lemonade, and musical entertainment by Resonating Grace, and also the Harding Choir. Plus prizes & games for adults and kids alike. Register your group online at visitgreersferrylake.org. Note: Must volunteer for lake cleanup and receive an issued ticket for free dinner. All volunteers receive free camping on a first come first serve basis. What a great way to end the Summer and kick off the Fall season.
